This one's a little different.
I took a more literal route. In South Asian cultures young green cloves are placed in newly pierced ears for their natural healing qualities. In Sinhala (Sri Lanka) cloves are called karābu nāṭi (කරාබු නැටි). Karābu meaning earring, nāṭi meaning stem.
A parallel too beautiful not to bring to life. It took years to get the weight and balance right. It's now the most comfortable pair of earrings I own.

Some places live on in us long after we’ve returned. Not as memory, but as ground beneath our feet.
For me, that place is the Rift Valley in East Africa, where all of our stories begin.
These earrings were made to hold that feeling. At the back of each earring sits a small node. A touchstone in miniature. A simple, habitual touch, and you're there again. Not a decoration, but a way back. A quiet reminder, worn close, of what matters.
Made for wherever your heart returns to.
